World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading
Upgrades can boost the value of certain numeric stats on armor, weapons and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as crit chance and PvE Damage.
If the weapon's upgrade template is %, it will gain 3percent of its previous damage for each time it is upgraded.
The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases as the item's level rises.
Components
Upgrade components are items that can be slotted into weapons, armor, and trinkets to provide an extra stat boost or impact while they're being used. These can be obtained by making crafts, buying from vendors or trading with other players or looting. Certain upgrades have unique cosmetic effects.
Upgrade components can only be applied to equipment with a slot. The item must be upgraded to blue before the component can be applied. Upgrade components, unlike other modifications, can only be applied only once. They are not able to be replaced or applied several times. Infusions and enrichments are a special type of upgrade component that is designed for non-amulet ascended and legendary equipment, as well as some of the items that are not ascending back. Infusions and Enrichments can be obtained by salvaging equipment that is ascended or completing a quest in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.
An upgrade can have a prefix or suffix that alters the name of the item to the upgrade (for instancefor example "Canthan Armor Insignia" becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase an item's Mark Level, or Rarity, allowing players to create stronger versions of that equipment that require the smallest amount of Upgrade Crystals than is required to reach the same level of upgrade using normal methods.
A 'boost upgrade' can alter the attack or defense attributes of a weapon or armor. After the player has completed the cutscene and defeated the Crazed Mechanist These upgrades can be created at the Portative Forging Station. They can also be dropped by enemies when upgrading other gear, or by buying them from the cash store for 500 upgrade crystals per.
The player can have up to five boost upgrades at one time. Each upgrade increases the probability that a higher-tier version of the item will drop at the time of the next reset. This gives the player some incentive to continue upgrading their gear, even if they're unsure of how much it will improve following a subsequent reset.
The boost upgrade may be successful or not, the process can be costly and there is a significant possibility that the item will be obsolete or even break if it fails; a failure to upgrade can destroy Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder, as well as the upgraded item. Cash shop items can be used to minimize or eliminate the risk of failure. Some upgrades also give an additional bonus when reinserted.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be used to enhance the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets with special functions. Glyphs can boost the performance of nodes within a radius, including any pre-existing attaches. Glyphs can be upgraded many ways, and we suggest getting them to level 15 whenever you can.
You'll often see in the endgame that placing Glyphs is a great method to upgrade your gear. They are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded straight to level 15 and offer a large boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to reach higher nodes more quickly.
Most of the upgrades in the game can be replaced, however Glyphs are the one upgrade component that can be removed and put back in place without restriction. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and replaced by using the aid of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.
The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it from your inventory. You can replace it with a different Glyph with the same rank or a higher rank, which will increase the value of the glyph.
Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of the Gem Store bundle or purchase, with certain unlimited-use tools and also during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt will drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs that you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.
Once you have the desired Glyphs You will have to attach them to your equipment. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that will boost a particular set of stat nodes that are within a radius of the Glyph. It could be +40 for one of your primary stats, or +25 for two of your secondary stats depending on the Glyph.
Utilizing Glyphs Glyph will boost all nodes that are linked to it, and you should try to place your Glyphs near the most important nodes of the Graph to maximize the impact. Druids, for instance, should place their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They might also want to consider placing them near their critical damage nodes.
Leveling
The item upgrading system allows players to improve the effectiveness of certain items by placing upgraded components into them. This is referred to as "upping". Every upgradeable item has a level that determines its final upgraded stats. Upgraded items can be upgraded to a maximum of ilvl 385. Each level of an item requires various components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level.
Certain upgrades require a specific ingredient to activate. This ingredient is obtained by making Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or on the upgrade tab in the crafting table. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed will result in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used to level up the item, and when enough points are earned, the upgrade can be claimed and any additional bonuses will be added to the item.
When a player upgrades an item to a higher level, the original item is replaced with a different item of the same type. The same armor will be upgraded to the form of a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item comes with its own set bonus. This could be a problem, as it can make the item more expensive if you don't need it.
If the player has enough tokens, they can roll item upgrade s. This causes the item to be exchanged for a brand new one, which will come with a level 1 base and a totally different set of bonuses. This can be useful for certain items, however it shouldn't be performed frequently, since it can waste a lot of resources.
Some upgrades can be rerolled several times to increase their value, allowing the player to customize their gear. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, as it provides buffs when the player continuously enters or exits the water. It is possible to upgrade it several times, each time raising the maximum roll by a factor of 10. This item is extremely useful in PvP. A perfectly rolled version could be worth as much as 50x the value of the unupgraded counterpart.
Requirements

The item upgrader allows players to raise the level of their equippable equipment (armor weapons, armor trinkets, and weapons) above ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrading armor set pieces will also increase the base defense of that piece, while upgrading weapons will increase the damage base and the strength and dexterity required to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements.
Each item can be upgraded a maximum of five times, with the exception of hero gear that can be upgraded up to eight times. Every time you upgrade an item, it is given the chance to fail. The rate of failure increases as you go beyond the maximum number of upgrades. Failures will result in the item reverting to its original condition, which requires the user to pay more for materials than they would had they stopped upgrading at the maximum number of upgrades.
If an item fails to upgrade the amount of experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item will also lose any bonuses it earned, such as chances to be crit, attack damage, or other effects (such as a higher healing rate over time, or the speed of reloading). The player can continue to use their weapon or armor even after the failure.
Whenever an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from the lowest to the highest. This means that when a weapon is upgraded, if it receives a crit chance boost it will be applied prior to any damage to attack increases. Slots is a new attribute that has been added to the definitions of items. The value is calculated every time an upgrade occurs.
The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is based on the rarity rating and number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium products is equal to the base value of the upgrade. For example, a common equipment item could have five upgrades with a cost of 25600 Technology Points 4x Quality Improvement Opportunity. Hero grade items are less expensive per upgrade.
Premium items have different requirements for upgrading in comparison to standard equipment. For instance, they might require fewer sowels, but they will require more minerals and erons. However, players must visit the NPC [ArmorBoboko in Central Flarine. Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they want to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade costs listed above, each upgrade will require a different amount of the ingredients for upgrading.
